Baja Dalla grew up in Sudan and scantly survived the civil war that claimed his parents and siblings’ lives. After living in a refugee camp for ten years, Baja journeyed to Chattanooga where Habitat for Humanity has teamed up with entrepreneurs and green building leaders to build his family a LEED certified Habitat House.
The story compelled filmmakers David Porfiri and Linda Duvoison to produce a documentary short about the build.
